Install OpenERP 7 in Ubuntu 12.04

I write this for reminds me about installing OpenERP at one of my linux box. Usually, i get used to install at Windows machine, and this likely for me for the first time, touching OE 7 inside linux box, so here we go :

1. Install postgreSQL server

sudo apt-get install postgreSQL

2. Install wget

sudo apt-get wget

3. Grab the source OpenERP 7

wget http://nightly.openerp.com/7.0/nightly/src/openerp-7.0-latest.tar.gz

OR

wget http://nightly.openerp.com/7.0/nightly/src/openerp_7.0-latest-1_all.deb

4. Install OpenERP 7

sudo dpkg -i openerp_7.0-latest-1_all.deb

5. Finishing touch

sudo apt-get -f install

6. Checking in browser

http://localhost:8069/

You should see main menu for database setup, go ahead and feel free to use🙂
